The effects of the ECA (Ephedrine, Caffeine and Aspirin) stack in weight loss are primarily due to the Ephedrine component but not its sole reason. Ephedrine acts both as a Beta Receptor Agonist and stimulates the release of norepinephrine. Increases circulating norepinephrine in the body then acts on white Adipose tissue (aka Fat) by increasing cAMP (Cyclic Adenosine MonoPhosphate) levels. This causes a thermogenic effect, raising body temperature and increasing the user's metabolism in conjunction with the rest of the stack.
However, the body's Negative Feedback (Self Defense) system then activates to normalize the metabolism. This is done via the production of Phosphodiesterase inside the cells, and prostaglandins outside the cell, which both lower cAMP levels within the cell and neutralising the effects.
Caffeine inhibits the production of phosphodiesterase inside the cell and therefore slows cAMP breakdown. It also binds with and competitively inhibits adenosine receptors in the brain, triggering the release of epinephrine and increasing cAMP levels further.
Aspirin inhibits prostaglandin production outside of the cells, which, in conjunction with caffeine, greatly prolongs the thermogenic effects and increased metabolism by sustaining elevated cAMP levels.
The way that the 3 products work, mean they are Synergistic, which is rather than 1+1+1=3 its more like 3+2+2=8, so the 3 products when combined are stronger than each would be alone.
Ephedrine also has an Anorectic, or Appetite Suppressant effect. However, these effects only last for about two weeks if the stack is not cycled, as the body becomes tolerant to ephedrine to some degree. You can prolong this by using certain upregulators which are usually certain anti-histamines such as Diphenhydramine or Ketotifen. It is estimated that 50% of the weight loss from using the ECA Stack comes from the anorectic effect, and 20%-30% from thermogenesis and the remainder from increase assertion and stamina.
The final component in weight loss of the ECA stack is that of a simple Stimulant; the higher epinephrine and norepinephrine levels result in increased aerobic exercise performance and less fatigue, This means you can work harder, heavier and faster in the gym, speeding up calorie use and weight loss as well as enhasing your performance.
Dosing and Suggestions
Typically the ECA stack is consumed two or three times per day in a 1:10:10 or 1:10:15 ratio of Ephedrine:Caffeine:Aspirin. Usually, no more than 25-30 mg of ephedrine, 200-250 mg of caffeine and 300-325 mg of Aspirin is consumed in a single dose.
Our Suggested Newbie Receipe:
1 x 30mg Ephedrine HCL Tablet
1 x 200mg Caffeine Anhydrous Tablet
1 x 325mg Aspirin Tablet
Take this preparation at 8am and 12pm each day, 4pm and the effects will be wearing down by 11pm allowing a reasonable nights sleep.
Our Suggest Seasoned Receipe:
2 x 30mg (60mg) Ephedrine HCL Tablets
2 x 200mg (400mg) Caffeine Anhydrous Tablets
325mg Aspirin Tablet
This is good if you need a longer more sustained effect of concentration, for example a long shift at work, the annorectic effects last upto 8 hours, and the wakefulness upto 8 hours as well.
Green Tea Extract
Geranamine aka DMAA (1,3 DiMethylAmylAmine)
White Willow Bark
B Vitamin Complex
It is not recommended that the stack or other agents be taken past mid afternoon (2-3pm) as this may contribute to insomnia, restlessness and sleep loss.
